As an artist I am interested in the interpretation of objects and I work across different media to do this. Working with a family collection of over 300 objects, given, inherited and cared for over several decades, my artistic responses include works of animation, photography, paperworks and text. My work also includes stitch, pressed plants and needle work – techniques associated with women’s work, which translate into something layered and resonate with a sense of place or person.

‘Exploring the idea of creative archiving, she takes on roles of researcher, curator and family chronicler of the objects, allowing thoughts of people & relationships to frame and contextualise the objects.
